Makeup By Me: Jeri Lee

Over the weekend, Linh invited me to come along with him to do Jeri Lee's makeup during her visit to DC.  Of course without hesitation, I was ecstatic to accompany him.  I think it's been about 13 years since I've been a fan of hers.  I gained a lot from this experience-- I didn't know I could do a full face of makeup with lashes in all under 30 minutes.  Not even during my 3 years of working for MAC, have I ever finished that quickly. Insane.  During my whole makeup career I literally day dreamed about one day doing her makeup, grateful to have had the opportunity to do so.  I also realized how much I missed doing makeup.  It was great meeting Jeri, she has a great personality, I can really see how she made it this far.  Looks may go a long way, but your positive energy and who you are is what really determines your place in life.
